About us

Our Messianic Jewish Community started in 1999 with one local Messianic Jewish Congregation in the city of Oradea, Romania.

Officially the Messianic Jewish Community has been established a few years later.

At the moment our community has two Messianic Jewish Congregations founded in Romania and a third one in Republic Moldova.

More congregations are planned to be founded in Romania and in the Countries nearby. Besides the calling for starting new local congregations we are also open for other congregations to join our community.

We have good relationships and are open for cooperation both with the Orthodox Jewish Community and with the Christian Churches & ministries.

The president (CEO) of our Messianic Jewish Community is shaliach David Nagy who along with the other leaders are the founders of our federation.

Which meanwhile has become international. David Nagy served as the (chief) rabbi for many years until he “officially” entered the calling of shaliach of our federation. In Oradea, Romania functions the first messianic synagogue in Romania after the WWII.

The building is in a very meaningful place (Sucevei street). It is on the street which was part of the ghetto and on which the trains took our people to extermination during the WWII.

So on this street which meant certain death for our Jewish people there is a messianic synagogue now which means eternal life for both Jews and non-jews as well. It is also planned that this streets’ name will be changed into “The deported Jews’ street” in the near future.
